My MOST Favorite...

Preheat oven to 375.
Unroll dough and separate wedges.
Put a little slab of almond paste (freeze the rest for later) on the wedge...
then put a chocolate square on top.
Roll up the crescent.
Sprinkle some sugar on top.
Bake as package directs!
After they are done you can:
drizzle with melted chocolate,
powdered sugar,
raspberry jam to dip? Or put inside?

Oh! They are SOSOSOSO GOOD!!

Slow Cooker Stack-Up

Sorry I don't have any pictures of this...
but believe me...it's easy!

You need:
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 cup chopped onions OR I just used minced onions...easier
2 8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 Tablespoons chili powder
a little salt n' pepa
1 16 oz. can red kidney beans
corn tortillas
cheese

Get cookin':
Brown the hamburger and add in the onions...
Add in the can of tomato sauce, chili powder, saltpepa, and kidney beans...
mix it all together.
Then in your slow-cooker/crock-pot start the stacks!
Put some of the mixture in...
Then put a corn tortilla...then some cheese...
Then do the layers again!
Make about 4 layers.
Finish with more yummy cheese...
Then pour the remaining can of tomato sauce
around the edge of the stack.

Cover and cook...
low heat for 4-5 hours
high heat 2.5 hours!
Ole!

Pretzel Time!!

I have been wanting to make these
"copycat" pretzels for some time now...
they are supposedly the same recipe as Auntie Anne's pretzels...
yum! And yes...it is EASY!!
A Boy, A Girl, and A Pug introduced me to this site for the recipe...click here.
Here are the finished products...
I made cinnamon and sugar pretzels...
Parmesan and garlic pretzels...
Plain buttered and salted...
And some PIZZA pretzels!
They are seriously just as tasty as the "mall pretzels"!!

Cream Cheese Chicken Enchiladas

This is super easy and a de-lic-ious "go-to" dinner!

which I did before Allikaye came along...just to be ready!
You need:Tortillas
1/2 Bag o' shredded cheese
Cream Cheese
1 Can of cooked chicken (or shredded cooked chick breast)
1 Can of diced green chilis
2 Cans of Green Enchilada sauce

Okay...Here goes the cookin'...
Mix together green chiles, cream cheese, and chicken -
this is the filling!
Scoop some into each tortilla and place seam side down -
in a greased dish.
Pour both cans of enchilada sauce onto the yumminess...
then as much as cheese as you would like...I like a lot!
Then bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes!!

Chicken Bacon Spinach Alfredo

Here is a yummy recipe that is eaZy - or else I probably wouldn't have made it! I tweaked it a little - to make it even more easy for me...does that say something about me?...hmmm...
Chicken Bacon Spinach Alfredo
(I just named after all the ingredients...clever, I know)
You need:
1 package fettuccine
1 lb. bacon
1 jar prepared alfredo sauce
1 package frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 or 2 cans of cooked chicken (I love the chicken in a can - saves so much time)
Italian seasoning
Parmesan cheese
Start boiling the noodles...cook the bacon, and save a little of the drippings...put the chicken into the drippings to heat it up a little...pour in alfredo sauce...crumble the bacon in it... add in the spinach....some italian seasoning...then toss in with the fettuccine! Yum! It was straight up Macaroni Grill in our mouths!
